Higher Expectations Counseling Center

Higher Expectations Counseling Center provides professional, Christ-centered counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where people can find help, hope, healing, and practical guidance for life’s challenges. We address emotional, relational, and spiritual needs with compassion, integrity, and excellence.

We offer professional counseling that thoughtfully integrates biblical truth with clinically sound practices. Our approach is both Christ-centered and effective, ensuring that care is grounded in Scripture while informed by best practices in counseling and mental health.

Whether you are part of Higher Expectations Community Church or the broader community, you are welcome here.

Our center exists as a compassionate space where faith and healing come together.

Our counselors are trained professionals who also understand pain personally. We do not position ourselves as distant experts, but as fellow travelers who have encountered God’s grace through honest struggle. It is our privilege to walk alongside you as God continues His redemptive work in your life.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Step 1: Access the Client Portal

New clients should create an account through our secure client portal. Existing clients may log in using their current credentials.

If you are scheduling an appointment for a minor, the parent or guardian must create the account and schedule an initial consultation without the child present.

Step 2: Request an Appointment

Once logged in, request an appointment with an available counselor at one of our locations. After your appointment is confirmed, intake forms will be sent through the portal and must be completed prior to your first session.

Step 3: Follow Up

Our team will contact you if additional information is needed. If you have questions before your appointment, please email counseling@thehec.org.
