The Importance of Prayer

Prayer Meetings We meet will meet on the second Sunday evening at 6:00 pm, for a special time of prayer for our church, our community, and our country.

** Note** During COVID we will practice all applicable CDC guidelines We ask you to join us in corporate prayer that you would come and quiet your heart and mind by taking time to sit in solitude before the Lord. We are more engaged when we limited our conversation with each other and focus our attention on Jesus.

Prayer is a critical ministry of our church. The following guide can be used as a prompt to pray. It encourages us to use the Lord's Prayer as a model and lists categories of areas that need our prayer.

The Lord's Prayer

(Matthew 6:9-13 CSB)

Our Father in heaven,

your name be honored as holy.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And do not bring us into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one.
